SOLAR POWER FERTIGATION SYSTEM (SPFS)

IAI provides a unique solar powered irrigation solution, fit for purpose to the small holder farmer, and particularly the rice farmer.

The IAI designed state-of-the-art Solar Power fertigation Systems (SPFS) increase crop yields and significantly reduce the farmers’ production costs.
The SPFS technology, an integrated system for irrigation and fertilization, enables a second annual cycle of crop cultivation during the dry season and saves the high cost and environmental impact of diesel generated irrigation.

The SPFS further monitors (online) the performance of the system itself at any given time and software and satellite tracking technology monitor crop cycles, providing both government agencies and private sector entities with the ability to properly assess seasonal yields and assist the farmers with remote extension services.

The systems, are installed currently in hundreds of locations and in particular in the Philippines and have demonstrated outstanding results to the full satisfaction of the recipients.

  • Solar Energy: Replaces expensive diesel energy with an efficient, maintenance-free solar system, no storage (batteries) required.

  • Water delivery: efficient submersible or surface pumps, reducing maintenance and improving reliability.Utilizes efficient submersible or surface pumps, reducing maintenance and improving reliability.

  • Precise Fertilizer Solution (Fertigation): Integrates low-pressure fertilizer tanks with the irrigation system, delivering water and fertilizer in precise quantities for efficient and higher-yield crop cultivation.

  • Smart Agriculture: Features a SCADA system for accurate real-time remote monitoring, crop performance data, and remote extension support for farmers.

  • Flexible Design Fit for Purpose: Easy on-site assembly with features that include:

       - Elevated structure to prevent flood damage.

       - Galvanized structure withstands typhoons up to 250 kph, warrantied for over 25 years.

       - In-field irrigation for efficient use of water and fertilizers across various crops.

  •  Versatile: Compatible with multiple irrigation methods (flooding, sprinklers, drippers) and adaptable for different crops.

  • Clean Energy: reduces and eliminates greenhouse gas emissions, Nitrogen Oxides, sulfur oxides and air pollutant emissions.
