The 9 Mile Farm includes six hectares of modern greenhouses, as well as a central packaging and logistics center. These advanced greenhouses use cutting-edge drip irrigation systems, high-quality fertilizers, and climate control systems. The packaging and logistics centers prepare the vegetables for the local market and oversee all other parts of the project, including marketing and distribution under the 9 Mile brand name.
Selling a wide variety of fresh vegetables such as tomatoes, capsicums, cucumbers, lettuce and many more, 9 Mile Farm is the first fresh produce farm to receive the HACCP food standard certification; and offers urban residents access to healthier, cheaper food, while diversifying the local economy and providing much needed employment.
